I've joined dA a) so I can comment on the works of a far more talented friend, and b) because my random browsing on the site revealed lots more talented people, whose work I am also very interested in.

If lightning strikes, or the hand of God descends from the heavens bringing unexpected brilliance (or even mediocrity), I'll also now have somewhere to put it. Or something.
